Siempre me ha gustado la música de Police pero, ¿por qué esta canción es una de mis favoritas? Resulta bastante obvio: su letra es un relato fantástico, una historia de magia y poder.

En algún lugar he leído que se habían inspirado para escribir la letra en la leyenda germánica medieval de Fausto, que relata el mito de un mago que pacta con el demonio, Mefistófeles, cediéndole su alma a cambio de conocimiento. ¿Qué más necesito para envolverme en ella por siempre?
